SAP BODS Consultant

We are seeking a Junior SAP BODS Consultant to join a large GCC enterprise on a remote contract basis in the UAE. This role is well suited to an early-career consultant looking to build hands-on experience in enterprise data integration within a complex, high-visibility SAP landscape. You will support data migration, integration, and transformation activities using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services, working closely with senior consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders. The client is a major enterprise environment with structured governance, cross-functional collaboration, and large-scale business operations across the GCC. You will contribute to initiatives that improve data quality, streamline interfaces, and support reliable reporting and operational decision-making. Key responsibilities include assisting with ETL job development, data extraction and mapping, data cleansing, validation, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and documentation. You will help analyse source-to-target mappings, support testing cycles, monitor batch jobs, and collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure successful delivery. A strong focus on accuracy, process discipline, and responsive stakeholder support will be important. • 1-3 years of experience working with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (SAP BODS) in data integration, ETL, or migration-focused roles • Exposure to at least one SAP implementation, upgrade, rollout, or data migration project in an enterprise environment • Understanding of ETL concepts, source-to-target mapping, data profiling, data cleansing, validation, and batch job monitoring • Familiarity with SAP landscapes and integration with SAP modules or enterprise systems, supported by strong SQL and relational database fundamentals • SAP certification in SAP Data Services, SAP BusinessObjects, or a closely related SAP technology is highly preferred • Ability to support test cycles, troubleshoot data load issues, document technical objects, and work effectively under guidance from senior consultants • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills, with the professionalism and cultural awareness needed to work within large GCC enterprise environments • Based in the UAE or able to work remotely in UAE time zones, with a disciplined approach to contract delivery, teamwork, and service quality
