SAP Functional Consultant - MM (Data Team)

We are seeking a Junior SAP Functional Consultant - MM to join the Data Team of a large GCC enterprise based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career SAP professional to contribute to a high-visibility enterprise environment, supporting materials management data processes within a structured, transformation-focused SAP landscape. The role is well suited to candidates looking to deepen their exposure to SAP MM in a complex regional business setting. Working within a major enterprise client in the GCC, you will support SAP MM data activities across business and system processes, helping maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master and transactional data. You will collaborate with functional teams, business users, and data stakeholders to assist with data validation, cleansing, migration support, issue resolution, and process documentation. The position requires a strong understanding of SAP MM fundamentals and the ability to work carefully within established governance and reporting frameworks. Key responsibilities include supporting material master and vendor-related data processes, assisting in testing and data reconciliation, documenting functional requirements, and helping ensure alignment between business needs and SAP MM configurations. You will also contribute to user support, process improvement initiatives, and coordination with cross-functional teams during change activities. • 1-3 years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant or SAP Analyst with exposure to SAP MM processes • Working knowledge of SAP MM including material master, purchasing, inventory management, and related data structures • SAP certification such as SAP Certified Associate in S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement or equivalent SAP MM credential is preferred • Experience supporting SAP implementation, rollout, data migration, or enhancement projects in MM-related workstreams • Familiarity with data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and documentation within enterprise SAP environments • Ability to work effectively with business users, functional teams, and data stakeholders in a large GCC enterprise setting • Strong communication, attention to detail, and professional stakeholder management skills in a multicultural corporate environment • Willingness to work on-site in Abu Dhabi on a contract engagement and adapt to structured delivery timelines and governance standards
